Hey everyone, I’m Anthony Balsamo, the owner and founder of Slab Stacks Sports Cards.

I’m 23 years old, originally from Long Island, New York, and now call Myrtle Beach, South Carolina home. My love for sports is what originally got me into collecting sports cards. What started as an appreciation for the athletes and the games turned into a passion for collecting, chasing big hits, and building something of my own within the hobby.

Outside of Slab Stacks, I currently serve in the United States Navy. Serving has taught me the importance of discipline, dedication, consistency, and putting in the work to accomplish your goals. Those same values are something I bring with me into Slab Stacks every day.

I’m also Brazilian, and I’m lucky enough to have a beautiful fiancée who currently lives in Brazil. Being connected to both American and Brazilian culture has become an important part of who I am, and having someone I love supporting me from across the world makes this journey even more meaningful.

What started with a love for sports cards has grown into a community that I’m incredibly proud of. Whether you’ve joined one of my Whatnot shows, purchased a card or piece of merch, followed along on social media, or simply supported the brand, you’re part of what makes Slab Stacks what it is.

My goal is to continue growing Slab Stacks into more than just a sports card shop. I want it to be a place where collectors can come together, have fun, chase their favorite cards, represent the hobby, and feel like they're part of a community.
